Every month, we analyze trends in broadly-defined construction jobs as hirings or layoffs are intertwined with fundamentals in the new residential construction, home improvement and non-residential construction end channels. More extensively, we segment employment data across other manufacturing, distribution, retail, service and financing sectors that are directly related to housing or non-residential construction. Our report also analyzes employment and income growth for young adults, which disproportionately affect household formation and entry-level housing demand.
